Please follow the signs for rental car return and park your SIXT vehicle at the SIXT parking at parking area P10. The car key can either be returned at the SIXT desk or in the key safety box which is located next to our SIXT desk in the arrival hall, its marked as SIXT keydrop.

Harstad Evenes Airport

Officially known by the name Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes, this airport is a major transportation hub for the region of Nordland in northern Norway. The airport was initially planned in 1960 however it took thirteen years for the idea to become a reality. The airport opened in 1973 and has been serving the region ever since. Alongside the civilian airport is the Evenes Air Station; this is a vital link in the Norwegian military's defence infrastructure. The airport has services to Dubrovnik and Burgas (and many domestic routes). Evenskjer is the regional capital of Skanland, Troms in Norway. The village is home to the famous Skanland Church, one of the largest wooden structures in the whole of Scandinavia. Travellers may wish to arrange for car hire in order to explore further afield. This area includes the famous Tjeldsund Bridge which is between the island Hinnoya and mainland Norway. The region of Skanland is also known for the river Tennevikelva; this is a beautiful sight, it is probably best appreciated from a boat. Another outdoor pursuit is available at the magnificent Novafjell mountain, one of the finest places in Norway for hiking and walking holidays.
