Podgorica Airport (TGD) is one of two international airports in Montenegro. The airport is approximately 7 miles south of Podgorica, the country's capital, and close to the town of Golubovci. It was previously known as Titograd Airport, in honour of Josip Broz Tito, and is sometimes known as Golubovci Airport because of its location. The airport is fairly small and caters to the needs of approximately 620,000 passengers per year. Good experience, clean and well maintained car, good service. The Sixt electronic damage inspection upon pickup makes for a clear record of existing damage. No issues at all with return inspection - in fact the agent was quite friendly and helpful. A bit of a hard sales approach pushing an upgrade at pickup. Would certainly rent from this Sixt again.
