From Terminal A, after collecting any baggage, follow the signs to Terminal B. Once you reach Terminal B, proceed up one level to the departures. Then leave the building and turn left. From Terminal B, after collecting any baggage, exit near the baggage carosels 7, 8, and 9. From there, proceed up one level to the departures. Then leave the building and turn left. When you reach a bridge, cross it to the car rental area. On the first floor, you will receive your key from our SIXT Keybooth. From Terminal C, after collecting any baggage, follow the signs to Terminal B. Once you reach Terminal B, proceed up one level to the departures. Then leave the building and turn left. When you reach a bridge, cross it to the car rental area. On the first floor, you will receive your key from our SIXT Keybooth.

By public transportation

From the Düsseldorf central train station, take the S-Bahn (suburban train) S11 towards Düsseldorf airport. There are also several ICE or EC trains that go from the Düsseldorf central train station to the airport. Finally, there are several buses, including from Ratingen line 760 and from Düsseldorf central train station line 721. Once at the airport, please use the SkyTrain to reach the terminals.

Navigate to our SIXT branch at Terminal-Ring 1, 40474 Düsseldorf. For returns during business hours, once you arrive at the airport, follow the signs for "Rental car return". Drive up to the second floor. After checking that you have all your belongings, a service agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return. For returns outside of business hours, once you arrive at the airport, follow the signs for "Rental car return". Please park on ground floor in the Car Rental Center. After checking that you have all your belongings, a return agent will process your return and collect your key.

very good customer service at check in , good way finding and great range of cars available.....however there should be more electric cars and those should have a standard household charger as standard not only a TYPE 2 charger as charging locations are limited especially in the countryside. My parents who I have been visiting do not have a wall box. However I welocmed the recharge offer SIXT gave.
