We had a good experience with Sixt Strasbourg. We hired a Peugeot 3008 for 10 days returning the car in Lyon. The reps in the office were friendly and held our bags while we explored Strasbourg. The collection of the car was from a parking building very close to the station and getting out of the city was a breeze. We drove the car through Germany and Switzerland - it was very fuel efficient and we had no problems with it. I had to purchase a ‘vignette’ to use the roads in Switzerland which cost around 45 euro. Getting to the drop off point in the centre of Lyon was a little challenging because of traffic and road works, however, the return point at Gare Part Dieu was easy to locate. I followed the directions to the relevant level and was met by a rep who checked the car over and confirmed there were no issues. Security deposit was returned within a few days. Both experiences with Sixt in Europe have been positive.
